Please leave your choice of potluck item below.
My home is at 5753 Surf Circle, Sechelt. It is to the right of Trail Ave as you are heading up towards Kinnikinnick, just before the hill starts. Here is a map:

CANBERRA. The Minister for Family, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, Ms Jenny Macklin, has said that the Federal Government's support for the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Indigenous Peoples will ‘reset’ the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. The Federal Government has now officially adopted the declaration at a ceremony in Parliament House, reversing the decision of the previous Government. The declaration, which was signed by all but four countries, contains 46 articles that outline the rights of Indigenous people in international law. Ms Macklin says the move is an important step towards closing the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. ‘Today Australia joins the international community to affirm the aspirations of all Indigenous people’, she said. Ms Macklin also acknowledged that the process to improve health and education for Indigenous people may take time.
